LEARNERS TEST IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY

If you have a disability you may be entitled to sit your Queensland written Learners Test under special conditions.
A Queensland Transport staff member can be made available to read you the test questions aloud. To access this service, you will need to call your local Queensland Transport Customer Service Centre to make an appointment.

At the appointment you will need to tell the staff member that you need the test read aloud to you. You may be asked to return to sit your test at a date and time when someone is available.
In order to take a test bring with you:-
- A completed, unsigned application form which you can access via this link:- http://www.qld.gov.au/transport/contacts/centres
- Proof of your identity
- The written road rules (knowledge) test free
You are only permitted to take the test once per day. You will have to pay the fee for each attempt.

A customer service member will be able to assist you by enquiring with local Queensland Transport Customer Service Centre’s to find out which centre has the facilities available to accommodate your needs.
For people who suffer from Asperger’s for example, Disability Services may be able to find out which Centres have a separate room available for you to sit the test with the help of a staff member reading the test questions aloud
