Trent previously worked at a high-profile commercial law firm before turning his hand to criminal law. Trent holds both a Bachelor of Journalism and Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology and is admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
With multiple years of experience in criminal defence, Trent firmly believes in the criminal justice system, and has successfully represented clients in a range of matters, including serious charges of homicide, fraud, sexual offences, robbery, serious drug offences and assault. Further, Trent has had high levels of success running appeals in the Court of Appeal. He appears on a daily basis before Magistrates Courts across South-East Queensland, as well as in the Children’s Court, District Court, and the Supreme Court of Queensland. In addition to criminal defence work, Trent enjoys high levels of success in representing those going through Family Law proceedings.
Trent has developed a strong reputation for his professionalism and effectiveness in the Courtroom and his services are highly sought after by clients. He is effective and efficient in managing and running client files at the Magistrate, District and Supreme Court levels, and his reputation is highly regarded amongst prosecutors, rival firms, and clients.
